About this Role:
The Digital Designer will oversee concept development, design, and production for a global beauty brand's digital platform. You will lead digital photoshoot conceptualization and asset production, collaborating closely with in-house teams to ensure deliverables meet global requirements. You will manage projects with a dedicated manager and external agency support.

Job Description:
- Execute a wide range of digital projects including site banners, emails, display banner ads, PDP pages, and SEO pages.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative VP on digital asset production, from project kickoff to completion, encompassing photoshoot concepting, concept presentation and sign-off, pre and post-production, final artwork, and finished asset delivery.
- Conduct light-color retouching and image resizing on visual assets.
- Drive digital creative strategies and ensure consistent application of brand standards for all digital assets in alignment with overarching campaign visuals.
- Manage multiple projects and closely adhere to digital production project plans and timelines to ensure timely delivery.
- Deliver experienced and effective creative presentations, including to senior members of staff.
- Demonstrate an enthusiasm for the agile nature of business needs.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
- Self-starter with 5-10 years of experience in digital design with an eCommerce focus.
- Prior experience in either a creative agency or in-house design team.
- Understanding of user experience methodologies and practices.
- Ability to prioritize and work quickly and efficiently against tight deadlines.
- Keen eye for clean design and ability to execute tactical direction efficiently.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (expert proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and presentation design (PowerPoint).
- Positive attitude and solutions-oriented approach to daily challenges with strong cross-department communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on assignments quickly and with efficiency and organization.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferably from a prestige beauty background.
- Sketch app and/or video editing skills.

You will be responsible for building responsive, high-performance web interfaces that deliver exceptional user experiences. The ideal candidate has strong frontend fundamentals, a keen eye for design, and experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks, Flutter, Angular, React etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop responsive and dynamic web applications using modern frontend technologies
• Translate UI/UX designs into functional interfaces
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability
• Collaborate closely with backend developers, designers, and product teams

• Implement best practices for accessibility, performance, and cross-browser compatibility

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of professional frontend development experience

• Solid experience with React, Vue, or Angular (React preferred)
• Familiarity with REST APIs and integrating frontend with backend services
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development
• Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions

Nice to Have (Pluses):

• Experience with TypeScript
• Familiarity with Next.js, Redux, or similar state management tools
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.)
• Understanding of frontend testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, etc.)
• Knowledge of basic SEO principles for SPAs
• Awareness of accessibility (a11y) best practices
